Drought

So slowly,

Sun melts into the sea.

So softly,

The moonlight touches me.

So gently,

The leaves swing on our tree.

This is how it would be,

If you were still loving me.

  1. Hi, I recently discovered your blog and have been loving it so far. I really like the way you write and the way your blogs are presented. I also loved your blog post about the writing tips. Are there any more tips and tricks you could give to an aspiring blog writer?
    Thanks!

  2. Hi Riya, glad that you are enjoying my work. Although I too am learning and hence would not be best placed to advise, there is this one bit that I fall back to. It’s lyrics from a song by Daft Punk. I think it’s not only music, but applies to pretty much everything

β€œYou want to free your mind about a concept of harmony and of music being correct,
You can do whatever you want
So nobody told me what to do, and there was no preconception of what to do”
